Senior: The senior team play neighbours Walterstown in Round 2 of the Hoganstand.com Meath Senior Football Championship this coming Saturday, April 26th in Páirc Tailteann at 19:00. Having lost to Navan O’Mahonys in Round 1 they will be eager to get their campaign up and running with a victory. Admission to all championship matches this weekend is only €5 which is great value while U-16’s have free admission. All support for the three teams in action over the weekend is much appreciated
Junior B: It will be a case of Friday Night Lights when the Junior B side bid to back up their victory over St. Vincent’s in Round 1 of the Seamus Connolly Catering Junior B Football Championship when they face off against Moynalvey in Skryne on Friday at 20:00. In their championship meeting last year Seneschalstown emerged victorious by 1-11 to 1-07 following a tough encounter. A similar outcome on Friday would represent an excellent start to the championship for David Hosie’s charges.
Junior D: The Junior D team will play Kilmainham in Round 1 of their Championship on Sunday April 27th in Martry at 12:00. Having reached the final last year before losing out to a very experienced Kilmainhamwood outfit they will be eager to get their campaign off on a positive note. Best of luck to Mattie McCabe and the entire panel.
Minor: The Minor team played Wolfe Tones yesterday, Monday, in the Spring League when they lost out by three points to miss out on a place in the semi final. The final score was Wolfe Tones 1-14 Seneschalstown 2-08.
Under 16: The U-16 travelled to Moylagh last Tuesday to take on St. Oliver’s but came home having lost by 4-15 to 4-07 following the concession of two stoppage time goals. Next up is a home game against Simonstown Gaels this evening, Tuesday, at 19:00.
Under 12: The U-12 team defeated St. Colmcilles on Wednesday evening in Round 3 of the Spring League by 35 scores to 17 following two very good games of football. This was an excellent performance from both sides. Conor Dunne, Jack Freyne, Jack McAuley, Peter Drummond, Woodley Nicholeson and Zach Sheridan all performed superbly on the night. Next up is a Round 4 game in the Spring League against Na Fianna in Seneschalstown on Wednesday April 23rd at 19:00.
Seneschalstown Nursery: Coaching for the U-6, U-8 and U-10‘s continues on Saturday morning in Seneschalstown at 11.00. Tea and Coffee is now being served during the coaching in the clubhouse for parents.
Senior Ladies: The Senior Ladies entertained Sarsfields (Mountmellick) in Round 1 of the Leinster League last Thurday evening and a depleted team suffered a heavy 3-13 to 0-04 defeat to a much more experienced Sarsfields team. It was a tough evening for the team but valuable experience was gained by a number of our promising U-16 players.
Girls U-14: Girls U-14 training continues on Wednesdays from 18.30 to 19.30. New members welcome.
Girls U-12: The girls U-12 team had a fantastic victory over Kells last week ith the final score being Seneschalstown 7-03 Kells 1-04. This was an outstanding performance against a very physical but fair opposition with only one kick of a ball between the two teams at half time.
The girls dug deep in the second half and went on to win with super determination shown by all.
Girls U-10: Girls U-10 continues on Mondays from 18.30 to 19.30. New members welcome.
Lotto: Due to the Bank Holiday weekend the Lotto draw has been held over until this evening. The results will be included in next weeks Club Notes.

Meath: Congratulations to the Meath Minor panel and their management on their excellent Leinster Championship victory over Wicklow in Páirc Tailteann on Saturday. Adam Carey represents the club on the panel.
Meath U-16: Eoin Finnegan represented Meath on Saturday in the U-16 blitz in Dunganny when Meath faced Dublin, Kildare Westmeath and Longford.
Meath U-15: Robert Wogan played for the Meath U-15 panel for the Leinster Blitz on Saturday as Meath was in action in Belfield against Dublin, Longford and Louth.
Meath U-14: Brian Boyd was selected on the Meath U-14 development Green Team to play in Trinity Gaels, Dublin last Saturday.
Tomorrow evening in Walterstown, Brian will be back in action as he takes part in a Meath East v Meath South match along with his club team mates Alan Mulvany, Daire Finnegan and Dylan Keating.
Meath Ladies Minor: The Meath Ladies Minor team was defeated by Offaly in the Leinster Minor Championship semi-final last Wednesday. Amy Gilsenan picked up an injury during the course of the game and we would like to wish her a speedy recovery.
Meath Ladies U-16: Meath qualified for the Leinster Final on Saturday when defeating Kildare in Walterstown with Natasha Mullen lining out at center back. They will now play Dublin in the Leinster Final on May 11th.
Meath Ladies U-12: Congratulations to Caragh Monaghan, Lauren Donnelly, Orla Finnegan and Sinead Mclarney who have been picked on the Meath Ladies U-12 panel.
Easter Sportsarama: The third annual Easter Sportsarama took place on Holy Thursday, April 17th in Seneschalstown and was a huge success once more. 120 children had a fantastic day and over €1,300 was raised for the club. The club would like to extend our thanks to all the volunteers who made themselves available to help on the day including many of the secondary school students who gave up a day of their school holidays to help. It was a great example of the community spirit that exists in the club.
Social Dance Lessons: Paul Finnegan is organizing Social Dance Lessons in the clubhouse each Sunday evening at 20.00. The classes are run on a fun and relaxed basis. For further information contact Paul: 086 8152882
Championship Fixtures: On Sunday the club hosts the Teach na Teamhrach Meath Junior Football Championship fixtures between Drumconrath and Skryne at 14:00 and Meath Hill and Simonstown at 15:30 in Fr. Tully Park.
