Fine second half display wins it for Seneschalstown

Seneschalstown overcame a 7 point deficit at half time to beat Trim by a point in an exciting second half display.
The hosts opened up the scoring on seven minutes with a goal before Seneschalstown answered with 3 points, including a free from corner forward Alan Geraghty. Trim were then awarded a penalty in which they slotted in the back of the net and added 2 more points to there total before Seneschalstown answered with a fine point from Cummins and free from Geraghty. Trim scored another goal before the break of half time.
The visitors started the second half well with a goal from full forward Martin Clarke. There was a further point from Mark Gleeson before Seneschalstown were awarded a penalty which they missed but scored on the rebound. It took Trim a while to get on the score board in the second half before they were awarded another penalty which gave them a 2 point lead going into the last 10 minutes of the match.Seneschasltown closed out the game with 4 futher points from Clarke,Tony Mc Donnell, Gleeson and Paul Garry to go away with the points.
