furzemen hope and late points from Seamus O’Brien, Kevin Casey and Sean Dillon drew the sides level and when Dillon was fouled about 35 yds out on the right hand side Brian Clarke stepped up to convert the winner with a

furzemen hope and late points from Seamus O’Brien, Kevin Casey and Sean Dillon drew the sides level and when Dillon was fouled about 35 yds out on the right hand side Brian Clarke stepped up to convert the winner with a
superb free kick from the ground. The first half was fairly even with both teams missing chances and the
winners led 0-6 to 0-5 at the break.
The second half started with Paul Finnegan increasing the winners lead but for the next 15 minutes the hosts scored 1-5 without reply and the winners keeper being forced into a couple of smart saves which kept the margin down. However the Furzemen were not to be denied and provided the important comeback to secure the points.
Best for the winners were Ollie Mulvany, Seamus O’Brien, Kevin Casey and
Substitute Sean Dillon.
