NUMEROUS missed chances in the first-half proved costly for hosts Seneschalstown as they lost to Walterstown in the A FL Div. 2 on Sunday.
It took them 17 minutes to score as an Alan Reynolds goal gave Walterstown a 1-2 to 0-3 interval lead. However, after the resumption Seneschalstown hit a purple patch and edged ahead by 0-7 to 1-2.
But that was as good as it got for the Yellow Furze side and they were rocked by another Walterstown goal from Wayne Smith 12 minutes into the half.

Walterstown had good displays from Joey Farrelly, Peter Reynolds, Alan Reynolds, Christopher Reynolds and John Davis while Colin Clarke, James Byrne, Paul Carey, Colin Gleeson, Joe Cowley, Davy Byrne, Alan Finnegan, Mark Carey and Shane Clarke were best for Seneschalstown.
