Moynalty were the stronger team in the second half cancelling the strong lead Seneschalstown had at half time. Moynalty scored a goal and 9 points in the second half to Seneschalstown’s goal and 3, the goal coming from Darren Johnson and points from Niall Lyons , leaving the side 2-11 each on the final whistle. Seneschalstown were only able to score a point in the first half of extra time from Tean Cummins, but Moynalty took advantage of there opportunities and scored 3 points from play. A fine goal in the second half of extra time from star forward Niall Lyons put Seneschaltown in front but were unable to hold onto there lead and Moynalty, as they did in the first half of extra time scored another 3 points beating Seneschalstown by a single point.
