Duleek / Bellewstown were first on the score board when a high ball from a free seen the ball in the back of the net. Duleek / Bellewstown kicked over 2 points from play leaving the side 5 points up on the 7th minute. It took 8 minutes for Seneschalstown to get on the score board when midfielder Adam Gleeson kicked over the black spot. Seneschalstown gained momentum and got 3 more points from play from Shane Clarke and James Conlon. Duleek / Bellewstown got further points from play on the 16th & 21st minutes but Seneschalstown soon cancelled those points out with points from Conlon on the 24th and 28th minute. The visitors increased there scoreline on the 27th & 28th minute leaving just a goal between the sides going into the break.
Seneschalstown started off the second half well with points from play from Francis Sheridan, Johnny Gilsenan and and excellent point from Clarke on the 31st, 32nd and 39th minute respectively leaving the sides level. Duleek / Bellewstown went one point up on the 41st minute but the Yellow Furze side soon cancelled that point out with a point from on form Clarke on the 43rd minute. Another goal came for Duleek / Bellewstown on the 44th minute when a mistake in defence seen the ball slotted to the back of the net. Conlon pointed on the 49th minute for the home side which left just 2 points between the sides. Goal came for Seneschalstown on the 51st minute when a good run in from centre half back Colin Gleeson who went for goal but was saved by the Duleek / Bellewstown goalie but Tommy Ledwidge was able to kick the reflection to the back of the net. Clarke kicked 3 more points (1 free)on the 52nd, 53rd and 54th minutes. A second goal came for Seneschalstown on the 59th minute when a mistake by the Duleek / Bellewstown goalie seen Joey Macken kick the ball harmlessly to the back of the net. Clarke kicked a further point from play on the 60th minute bringing an end to his fine tally of scores.
