After last weeks defeat in the Senior Championship Dunshaughlin’s under 21 side bounced back with a good display of football against Seneschalstown in Donore on Friday evening.

After last weeks defeat in the Senior Championship Dunshaughlin’s under 21 side bounced back with a good display of football against Seneschalstown in Donore on Friday evening.
Dunshaughlin were first on the score board with a point from play on the3rd minute. On form Conor Devereux then added to this with a point from free on the 10th minute. Dunshaughlin slotted over 2 more points from play before the Yellow Furze side got on the score board on the 13th minute with a point from play from Jonathan Gilsenan. James Conlon kicked over the black spot on the 16th minute for Seneschalstown. Dunshaughlin scored a goal and 2 more points from play in a 3 minute spell before goal came for Seneschalstown on the 23rd minute when corner forward Jonathan Gilsenan found the back of the net. Dunshaughlin added 3 more points before the break leaving them 7 points up going into the second half.
A free from Gilsenan on the 31st minute seen Seneschalstown first on the score board in the second half but Dunshaughlin soon cancelled that out with a well struck goal on the 32nd minute. Dunshaughlin conceeded another free which seen Gilsenan step up and kick over the bar on the 36th minute. But again the Black and Amber side went on a scoring spree with points both from free and play on the 38th, 43rd, 48th and 52nd minutes respectively. A long ball into Gilsenan seen him kick another point from play on the 57th minute. Conlon added to his scoreline with a fine point from play on the 60th minute as did Adam Gleeson on the 62nd minute but this rally of score was too late for the Yellow Furze side.
