Seneschalstown comfortabilty overcame Navan O’Mahonys at home in the third round of the Division 1 B League.
The home side were first on the score board on the 10th minute with a goal from full forward Peter Waters. This was soon followed by a string of points from play from Waters, David Hosey and Neil Darby on the 13th, 14th, 16th and 19th minutes respectively. It was the 20th minute before the Brews Hill side registered there first score with a point from play. This was soon cancelled out with a point from play from Robert Darby on the 23rd minute. Seneschalstown added 2 further points on the score board on the 24th and 30th minutes leaving them 8 points up going into the break.
Again the Yellow Furze side started the second half strong with points from play from Waters, Damien Mc Donnell, Tommy Ledwidge, Colin Gleeson and Robert Darby before the home side again found the back of the net when a shot originally saved my the O’Mahonys goalie seen Neil Darby strike the rebound to the back of the net on the 54th minute. Seneschalstown finished off there high scoring with 2 further points from play on the 55th and 56th minutes from Hosey and Neil Darby.
