Seneschalstown 2-09 Clonard 1-10
Having gained promotion from Division 6 last year Seneschalstown’s Junior D team commenced life in Division 5 of the B Leagues on Saturday last, March 1st with a hard earned home victory over Clonard.
Under the guidance of new team manager Mattie McCabe and with a mixture of youth and experience in the side Seneschalstown were able to match last year’s Championship semi-final victory over the same opposition.

Corner forward Eddie Meade continued his good form with 5 points while his minor team mate Danny O’Reilly and the experienced Sean Doyle notched a goal apiece.
Next up for the team is an away fixture against Moylagh next Sunday, March 9th at 15.00.
