Senior: The Senior team play Navan O’Mahonys in the First Round of the Hoganstand.com Senior Football Championship in Pairc Tailteann on Saturday April 12th.

Junior B: The Junior B side lost to Simonstown Gaels in Seneschalstown on Sunday in Round 3 of Division 1 of the B Leagues on a scoreline of 3-11 to 2-03. They play Donaghmore Ashbourne next Sunday at 11.00 in Ashbourne. Their First Round fixture for the Championship has been fixed for Slane at 12.00 on Sunday April 13th against St. Vincent’s.

Junior D: The league game against St. Brigid’s which was postponed last weekend will now be played on Saturday April 5th at 18.00 in Seneschalstown.

Minor: The Minor team defeated Killary Emmets in Seneschalstown on Sunday by 4-13 to 5-04. Their next match is away to Jenkinstown Gaels this Friday at 19.45 in Batterstown.

Under 16: The U-16 team played host to An Ríocht from Down on Saturday in a challenge game before the Meath v Down match. The two sides finished level following an excellent game. They commence their league campaign this evening with a match against Jenkinstown Gaels in Moynalvey at 18.45.

Under 14: The U-14 campaign continued against Simonstown Gaels last weekend where the team recorded their second victory of their campaign in Division 1, emerging victorious on a scoreline of 2-09 to 3-05 following an excellent team display.

Under 12: The U-12 had a very good challenge match against St. Cuthberts on Sunday and commence their league campaign this Wednesday in Kentstown at19.00 against Navan O’Mahonys.

Seneschalstown Nursery: Coaching for the U-6‘s continues on Saturday morning in Seneschalstown at 11.00.

Go Games Blitz: The first Go Games Blitz of the year for our U-8 and U-10 children is on this Saturday in St. Patrick’s Stamullen at 13.00 to 14.30. Parents are encouraged to be there at 12.30 to allow for traffic to and from the venue. Reminder that gumshields are cumpulsorary – No Gumshield No Game.

Girls Under 14: Girls U-14 training continues on Wednesdays from 18.30 to 19.30. New members welcome.

Girls Under 10: Girls U-10 continues on Mondays from 18.30 to 19.30. New members welcome.

Loreto: Best of luck to Loreto who take on St. Joseph‘s SS from Foxford on April 4th in the All Ireland Senior Final. It is a fantastic achievement for all the girls and our very own people Aishling Taffe, Ciara Gough, Róisín Commons, Ruth Commons, Siofra O’Reilly, Shauna Fitzgerald and Stacey Grimes to be in an All Ireland Final.

Meath: On Saturday, the Meath Senior football defeated Down in Round 6 of the Allianz National Football League by 1-14 to 1-11. The result leaves them safe in Division 2 and with a very outside chance of promotion to Division 1. Next Sunday they have the short journey to Drogheda where they take on Louth in what is sure to be a keenly contested local derby. Tickets purchased in advance in Jack Kiernan’s or in local SuperValu or Centra stores are priced at €10 while they will be €15 at the ground.

The U-21 side plays Dublin, tomorrow Wednesday, at 19.30 in the final of the Leinster Championship. Best of luck to Sean Barry and all the panel.

The Meath Ladies Senior suffered a heavy defeat to Galway on Sunday last in Ashbourne.

Last Man Standing: Going into Round 7 of the Allianz Football Leagues there are three people who remain in the clubs competition.
