Senior
The Senior team took to the field on Sunday with great expectations of picking up two points in the Hoganstand.com Senior Football Championship but by the time the final whistle sounded they walked off in disappointment following a 0-14 to 1-09 defeat to Skryne. This leaves them with no points from their opening two games but as has been proven before it’s possible to bounce back from a bad start and still have a good campaign.

They will look to pick up two League points on Thursday evening when taking on Donaghmore/Ashbourne in Fr. Tully Park at 19:00.

Junior B
The Junior B team continued their impressive start to the Seamus Connolly Catering JBFC on Sunday when comfortably accounting for the challenge of St. Colmcilles in Stamullen. Leading at half time they pulled away in the second half to eventually win by 5-18 to 0-09.

Junior D
The Junior D’s were another side to record a second win in the Championship over the weekend when they defeated Boardsmill in Round 2 of the JDFC in Walterstown by 2-11 to 3-04.

Strictly Come Dancing
The fifteen couples for our upcoming Strictly Come Dancing Extravaganza, which takes place in the Knightsbrook Hotel on May 15th are hard at work getting their steps right for their dances with all couples putting in an unbelievable effort to be spot on come the big night.

The fifteen couples who are hard at work practising their dances are – John Smith and Sarah Clancy, Shane Corbally and Carmel Healy, Conor Cowley and Sarah Muldoon, Eoin Battersby and Joyce McDonagh, Derek Carroll and Pamela Ryan, Cormac Noonan and Colleen O’Dea, Darrell McAuley and Karen Lynch, Adam Carey and Ellen Sheridan, Andrew Mooney and Aoife Stanley, Grainne Kennedy and Niall Groome, David Clarke and Nicola McDonagh, Jim Rooney and Deirdre Naughton, Thomas Daly and Jennifer Monaghan, Liam Sharp and Audrey O’Reilly.

Tickets are priced at €20 and are available from all dancers and committee members.

Minor
The Minor side’s next match is against Oldcastle on Friday May 1st at 19:30. The side currently sit atop the table and victory against Oldcastle would copper fasten a home semi-final spot.

Under 16
Last Tuesday the U-16 side survived a very tough test to eventually overcome Drumconrath/Meath Hill by 0-14 to 0-10.

This evening (Tuesday) they lost out to Wolfe Tones but will look to bounce next Tuesday, May 5th, they play Trim in Fr. Tully Park.

Under 14
Last Thursday our U-14 team took on Round Towers in Round 5 of the Division 2 League in Fr, Tully Park and after struggling to get going for much of the game they found their mojo for the final quarter to eventually beat the visitors by 3-14 to 1-11.

Next up for the side is a game away to Trim on Thursday May 7th in what will be a repeat of the Féile Peile na nÓg Final which was played in February of this year when Seneschalstown won after a tight encounter.

Seneschalstown Nursery
Next Saturday the U-8’s and U-10’s will have a Go Games Blitz in St. Colmcilles. Details will be sent out to parents in due course.

This weekend the Club Nursery coaching in the school in Kentstown where on Saturday morning at 11:00 there will be coaching for the U-6 players.

Senior Ladies
The Senior Ladies lost out to Boardsmill on Sunday morning in Fr. Tully Park in their deferred Division 1 League Round 1 match by 1-09 to 2-12.

Girls Under 16
Following the conclusion of the group stage of the U-16 League the Girls have qualified for the semi-final where they will play Royal Gaels. Details for this game will be on our Social Media pages as soon as we know them. Their coaching continues on Monday evenings from 19:00 – 20:00 in Fr. Tully Park.

Girls Under 14:
The U-14 Girls have had a busy week with two matches, the first away to Rathkenny and the second at home against Donaghmore/Ashbourne.

In their first game they had a 4-11 to 0-04 win over Rathkenny and they then completed a very good week with a 6-06 to 2-05 over the girls from Ashbourne. Coaching continues for this brilliant side on Monday evenings from 19:00 – 20:00 in Fr. Tully Park.

Girls Under 12
Our U-12 Girls faced Navan O’Mahonys last Friday and following a keenly contested game drew with their hosts on a score of 2-02 to 1-05.

Girls Under 10
The U-10 Girls played Wolfe Tones last Friday evening in Gibbstown. The side found the going tough at the beginning but when some of the older players who had been held up en route to the game arrived they help turn the game in Seneschalstown’s favour in what was a very good performance.

Lotto
The numbers drawn in this week’s Lotto were 5, 8, 21 and 27. There was no winner of the jackpot of €7,000. Next week’s jackpot will be worth €7,100. The 5 x €25 winners are Angela Gray, Grey Lyons, Ann Flynn, Catherine Traynor and Simon Sheridan.

Championship Fixture
Wolfe Tones take on Curraha in a Junior D Football Championship Group C Round 2 fixture in Fr. Tully Park on Sunday at 12:00.

Cúl Camp
This year the club will once more play host to a Kellogg’s Cúl Camp. This year’s camp will take place from July 13-17.

Loreto U-14
Congrats to the Loreto U-14 side which won their Leinster semi-final on Monday. Sorcha Gough and Shona Loughran were among those on the panel.
