Ballivor 3-07 Seneschalstown 1-17

In the U-16 Division 2 Round 7 game played on Tuesday evening Seneschalstown recovered from the setback of conceding two early goals to eventually emerge winners by four points. Keeping their composure after conceding the two goals the side kept the scoreboard ticking over and received a major boost when Cathal Finnegan converted a well worked goal on twenty minutes.

In the U-16 Division 2 Round 7 game played on Tuesday evening Seneschalstown recovered from the setback of conceding two early goals to eventually emerge winners by four points. Keeping their composure after conceding the two goals the side kept the scoreboard ticking over and received a major boost when Cathal Finnegan converted a well worked goal on twenty minutes.

The away side then began to gain control of proceedings and displaying a ferocious will to win they threw themselves into each tackle as though their lives depended on it. From back to front there were fine performances with resolute defending from Daire Finnegan, Richie McKeown and Sean Carey while the midfield dominance achieved by Brian Maguire and Robert Wogan gave the forward line a good platform to work off and they each performed very well as 1-14 was racked up from play.
