Friday the thirteenth didn’t prove to be a lucky day for Seneschalstown’s Junior B side as they fell to a heavy defeat to a Simonstown Gaels team which operate at the Junior A grade.
Having picked off the first two scores through a James Meade free and a well taken Brendan Lynch left footed effort the early portents looked promising but from there until half time Simonstown took control as they charged into a 2-06 to 0-03 advantage with only a Tean Cummins point giving any respite to the storm.

The second half proved to be more of the same menu as Seneschalstown just couldn’t get to grips with their opponents and were grateful to a James Meade free for their only score of the half.
