After a very evenly contested fist quarter where the teams were level on 3 occasions, O’Mahony’s pulled away for the remainder of this Girls u10 match played in Navan on Thursday Apr 29th. Points in the first half by Chrystal Delamere (2) and Aishling Clarke kept Seneschalstown well in contention in the first half where the town side led 1-4 to 0-3.

After a very evenly contested fist quarter where the teams were level on 3 occasions, O’Mahony’s pulled away for the remainder of this Girls u10 match played in Navan on Thursday Apr 29th. Points in the first half by Chrystal Delamere (2) and Aishling Clarke kept Seneschalstown well in contention in the first half where the town side led 1-4 to 0-3.
O’ Mahony’s made some astute switches at half time which allowed them to pull away in the second half. The winning margin would have been much greater but for the peformance of Seneschalstown’s keeper and captain for the night Andrea Munnelly who time and time again made point blank saves. Second half scores from Clarke (2-1), Chloe Williams (0-2) and Delamere (0-1) brought up the rest of Seneschalstown’s tally as they fought gamely until the end. Best For seneschalstown were Andrea Munnelly, Chrystal Delamere, Chloe Williams, Shona Loughran and debutant Sorcha Gough.
