Seneschalstown u10 girls captained this time by Katie Geraghty were defeated in the third round league match by a very well organised Simonstown team in front of a good crowd on a warm and sunny Saturday morning.

Seneschalstown u10 girls captained this time by Katie Geraghty were defeated in the third round league match by a very well organised Simonstown team in front of a good crowd on a warm and sunny Saturday morning.
While Seneschalstown were fist to score with the boot of Aisling Clarke with a goal and point from a free. The latter score coming from a free after Shauna Gordon received a side-line ball and was fouled. Simonstown replied soon after this. Another few scores from Shona Loughran (goal) and Shauna Gordon (point) left it 2-5 to Seneschalstown and Simonstown led at halftime by 4 points. In the second half Simonstown picked up a gear and pulled away from Seneschalstown. This was down to Seneschalstown unfortunately missing there full back Chloe Williams, who had to come off due to illness. Seneschalstown’s goalie, Andrea Munnelly made some fine saves in the second half. Clarke scored another point and the only score for Seneschalstown in the second half. Seneschalstown had good performances from Leanne Clarke, Shona Loughran, Chrystal Delamere, Aoife Mulvany, Leah Ryan and Megan Darby.
