Seneschalstown u11’s defeated Trim in this 4th round game played in Seneschalstown on Sept 17th. Playing with the aid of a stiff breeze in the first half Sorcha Gough opened the scoring with 2 quick points from play which were followed by 2 more from Katie Geraghty ensured the home team settled well early on. Further scores from Shona Loughran (1-1), Aoife Mulvany (0-2), Chrystal Delamere (0-1) along with further score from Gough and Geraghty had the home team leading by 1-13 to 1-0 at HT. The second half was a tighter affair with the home team now playing into a stiffening wind but scores from Gough (1-1), Mulvany (0-2), Geraghty (0-1) and Loughran (1-0) ensured the home team prevailed after a very even second half.
