Seneschalstown went under to a strong Moylagh outfit at St Brigids, Ballinacree pitch on May 21st. Seneschalstown started well with a goal from Aoife Mulvany inside the first 2 minutes. Moylagh replied with 2 points before Aishling Clarke opened her account from play with a point. A pointed free from Clarke had the Seneschalstown Girls 1-2 to 0-2 ahead at the end of the first quarter. Moylagh replied soon after with a goal to level the game and then took the lead. Clarke again levelled thing up coming up to half time and a late Moylagh score had the HT score at 1-4 to 1-3 to the home side. Seneschalstown resumed for the second half without Clarke due to injury and Moylagh scored 1-1 to go 2-5 to 1-3 ahead. Points from Katie Geraghty and Shona Loughran brought the score to 2-5 to 1-5 entering the final 10 minutes. Moylagh ensured victory with 2 goals from long range and try as they might the Seneschalstown girls couldn’t break down the Moylagh defence.
