Seneschalstown 5-11 Trim 0-5
Seneschalstown girls u12’s defeated Trim in a very entertaining game at Seneschalstown on May 18th. This was a close competitive game even though the score line would suggest otherwise. Aishling Clarke, Sorcha Gough and Shona Loughran scored to leave Seneschalstown leading 0-5 to 0-1 just past the halfway point of the first half but 3 points from Trim brought them right back into the game before a goal from Loughran and a point from Clarke had the Seneschalstown girls leading 1-6 to 0-4 at HT. Seneschalstown were first off the mark in the second half which was soon cancelled out by the Trim girls but goals from Clarke (3) and Leah Ryan and a great performance from the defence helped the Seneschalstown girls to their second win in the division.
