Seneschalstown turned in a much improved performance from their previous outing against St. Vincent’s but were left to rue the concession of two goals on the lead in to half time as they ultimately fell to a seven point defeat to Wolfe Tones on Sunday in Kilberry.

Seneschalstown turned in a much improved performance from their previous outing against St. Vincent’s but were left to rue the concession of two goals on the lead in to half time as they ultimately fell to a seven point defeat to Wolfe Tones on Sunday in Kilberry.
After building up a five points to two advantage the concession of these two goals were a hammer blow to the men in blue and when Wolfe Tones added on a few points upon the resumption the hill the Seneschalstown men had to climb suddenly began to resemble a mountain. They manfully began to claw the deficit back but the Tones added a third goal to eventually run out comfortable victors.
