The early exchanges were even but then the furze girls began to get a grip on proceedings. Nicola Mongey opened the scoring with a well taken goal and followed this up with a point a few minutes later. Charlie Murray got in on the scoring act with a point from play before Mongey again pointed to leave the score at 1-03 to 0-00 at HT.

The second half started with the furze girls on top and Megan Clarke added to the score board with a goal. Trim to their credit never gave up and got the next 3 points before Clarke added another point. Mongey closed the scoring with a fine goal off her weaker foot to give the Furze girls a deserved victory.
This was a very good team display with each player giving a good account of themselves.
