General Meeting: There will be a General Meeting in the clubhouse on Wednesday July 16th at 20:30.
Ladies Meeting: There will be a meeting for the Ladies Section of the club next Monday, July 21st in the clubhouse at 20:30. All welcome to attend.
Kellogg’s Cúl Camp: The Kellogg’s Cúl Camp in Fr. Tully Park is in full flow at the moment with 126 children receiving marvellous coaching and having a super time. Our thanks to Jenny Rispin of Meath Coaching and Games who is the Camp Supervisor and all the coaches.
Guess The Score: The Juvenile section of the club running a fundraiser in the lead in to the Leinster Final against Dublin. A card has been distributed among all the players in the club with each prediction costing €2. The prize for the winner who guesses the correct score or the nearest to it will be €100. This is a vital fundraiser for the Juvenile section and all support would be greatly appreciated. These cards are due to be dropped back to the Juvenile Committee before Sunday’s match.
Club Competition: The Summer holidays have arrived and we are running a photo competition. The prize will be a year’s family membership for 2015 for one lucky family.
We are going to spread the Seneschalstown gospel across the world but need your help.
We are looking for photos of our juvenile members on their holidays wearing their Seneschalstown gear. The photo can be taken in Bundoran, Barcelona or Boston ……
Another option would be to take a photo at a famous landmark such as Buckingham Palace!
So get snapping and send the photo in via a Private Message to our Facebook Page. The draw to decide the lucky winner will take place on the first Saturday in September during the Seneschalstown Nursery.
Senior: The Senior team had a one point victory over Summerhill in Fr. Tully Park on Sunday afternoon. Having let a three point advantage with nine minutes to go slip to a three point deficit with sixty min utes gone the team showed great character to win by a point courtesy of a late goal from Bryan Clarke and then a point from Ross Howard to secure the victory.
Next up on Saturday evening at 19:00 the team welcome Dunshaughlin to Fr. Tully Park for the next round of the league.
Junior D: The Junior D team are into the quarter final of the championship where they will play Wolfe Tones on Thursday July 17th in Castletown at 20:00. We would like to encourage as many as possible to go to Castletown on Thursday to support the team.
Senior Ladies: The Ladies team play Navan O’Mahonys in Fr. Tully Park on Wednesday July 16th at 19:45 in Round 3 of the Championship. All support greatly appreciated.
Under 17: The U-17 team play Na Fianna in Round 4 of the league on Friday evening at 19:30 in Fr. Tully Park.
Under 16: The U-16 team play Walterstown in Fr. Tully Park next Tuesday at 19:30 in Round 4 of the Summer League.
Under 14: The U-14 team defeated Rathkenny on Saturday by 4-14 to 3-04 in Round 2 of the league.
Next up is an away match against Walterstown on Wednesday evening at 19:30.
Under 12: The U-12 team had a tough challenge match against Dunshaughlin on Saturday where they managed to eke out a two point victory.
Next up is their last group match of the Summer League where they will face Trim in an away match on Wednesday at 19:00.
Seneschalstown Nursery: Coaching will continue for the U-10, U-8 and U-6 children in Fr. Tully Park this Saturday at 11:00.
The U-10 team had an excellent match against Skryne last Saturday.
Girls U-10: Girls U-10 coaching continues on Mondays from 18.30 to 19.30.
Meath: Best of luck to Mick O’Dowd and the Meath team against Dublin in the Leinster Final on Sunday.
