Sun 29th Feb Seneschalstown 2-9 Simonstown 4-1

Its rare that a team will score four goals and still lose, but that was the case for Simonstown on Sunday as their third team was edged out by Seneschalstown.

Seneschalstown overcame visitors Simonstown in the first adult match played
on the new pitch. Pride of place for the first scorer went to home midfielder Robert Ruddy, but it took over 15 minutes to arrive. A Barry Clarke goal had the home team 1-3 to 0-1 approaching half time but the concession of 2 slack goals had the teams level at the interval at 1-4 to 2-1.
