Boardsmill underlined their intentions when they recorded a fine Junior B FC victory over Seneschalstown at Kilmessan on Saturday where the sides were level, 1-2 to 0-5 at the interval.

Making the jump from Junior C is never easy, but Boardsmill took it in their stride and produced an excellent team display as they dismissed the challenge of senior club’s second string.

Boardsmill underlined their intentions when they recorded a fine Junior B FC victory over Seneschalstown at Kilmessan on Saturday where the sides were level, 1-2 to 0-5 at the interval.

Making the jump from Junior C is never easy, but Boardsmill took it in their stride and produced an excellent team display as they dismissed the challenge of senior club’s second string.

Boardsmill took a decisive lead in the final quarter following points from Vinny Guy and a brace from Alan Ashe, who returned this year following a spell with Moynalvey. Seamus O’Brien and Joey Macken were best for Seneschalstown.
