This “B” league div 6 game played in windy conditions was truly a “Game of 2 halves” as both teams failed to score while playing into the wind. The visitors played with the elements in the first half and after a slow start posted 6 unanswered points by half time. Seneschalstown had 2 good goal chances on that first period but failed to convert either.

The visitors played with the elements in the first half and after a slow start posted 6 unanswered points by half time. Seneschalstown had 2 good goal chances on that first period but failed to convert either.
The second half commenced with an early point from Seneschalstown but the crucial score came 10 min’s in, when Alan Geraghty struck for the only goal of the game. Points followed from Geraghty, Sean Doyle, Davy Carter and Wesley McDonagh to secure both league points. Skryne had a chance to win the game with a few minutes remaining but failed to convert a good goal chance.
Best for Seneschalstown in a good team performance were Jimmy Reilly, Wesley McDonagh, Sean Doyle, Davy Carter and Alan Geraghty
