Our Junior D team lost by the narrowest of margins to Gael Colmcille in Carlanstown on Sunday afternoon. The game was played in very windy conditions which made judging scoring chances very difficult. Gael Colmcille led by one point at the break 1goal 2 points to 4 points. Seneschalstown played against the wind in the second half and put in a strong burst to lead by 2 points with two minutes remaining. However lady luck was not on our side as Colmcilles found the net in the final minute of the game to claim the 1 point victory.
