Alan Geraghty finished with all bar one of Seneschalstown’s scores as he inspired his side to an easy Junior D FC victory over a weak Drumconrath outfit at Rathkenny on Sunday afternoon.

The Yellow Furze men were always in control as they recorded their second win of the campaign. However, they were wayward with their shooting as they fired 14 wides and should have won by more.

Alan Geraghty finished with all bar one of Seneschalstown’s scores as he inspired his side to an easy Junior D FC victory over a weak Drumconrath outfit at Rathkenny on Sunday afternoon.

The Yellow Furze men were always in control as they recorded their second win of the campaign. However, they were wayward with their shooting as they fired 14 wides and should have won by more.

Drumconrath goalkeeper Terry Moyles restricted Seneschalstown’s final tally with a number of excellent saves as his side trailed by 0-2 to 0-8 at the break.

Geraghty was Seneschalstown’s only starting player to score and he was well supported by Ciaran Finnegan, Paul Whitney and Alan Oakes.
