Next Friday night at 8.30pm the only place to be is Maguire’s Bar and Lounge in Kentstown for the Presentation Night for our superb Senior Ladies Football Team when they will be the recipients of their Senior Football Championship and Feis Cup medals.
These Ladies deserve your support and a large attendance is expected on the night.
Also on the night Seneschalstown Strictly Come Dancing 2014 will be launched.
It was the social event of the year last year and promises to be even better this year.
At the moment the dancers are 24 individuals but next Friday night they will become 12 couples. Who will dance their way to victory?
Will Jonathan Gilsenan display the twinkle toes that he normally uses to dance away from defenders? Will Tony McDonnell emulate Paul Finnegan in wowing the crowd with his smooth moves?
Will Michelle McCabe’s training in The Palace prove fruitful? Is the smart money on last years judge Liz Sheridan? Will she be the Queen of the dance floor?
All the dancers are awaiting with great anticipation to find out who will be like John Travolta and Olivia Newtown-John or who will be more like John Sergeant or Ann Widdicombe.
