Walterstown were first on the scoreboard with a goal on the 4th minute. It took the home side 10 minutes to register there first score from Mark Carey. 2 further points came for Walterstown from Ronan Barry and Joey Farrelly on the 12th and 13th minutes. Seneschalstown got a free on the 15th minute but again Walterstown reacted well with points from play and free on the 16th, 17th and 19th minutes. The Yellow Furze side got a point from play on the 20th minute from Niall Groome. Goal came for the home side on the 26th minute when Adam Gleeson found the back of the net. Walterstown got another point from play on the 29th minute but was soon cancelled out with a point from free from David Hosey on the 30th minute leaving just 2 points between the sides going into the break.
The Blacks were first on the scoreboard with a point from free on the 41st minute but Shane Clarke soon added to the home side scoreline with a point from play on the 42nd minute. Walterstown conceeded a free on the 44th minute which allowed full forward Stephen Finnegan kick over the bar. The home side got another point from play on the 46th minute from substitute Jonathan Gilsenan leaving the sides level. But the visitors soon added points from play on the 47th and 48th minutes. Clarke kicked over another point from free on the 51st minute but again Walterstown reacted well with points from play on the 52nd and 53rd minutes and with Seneschalstown unable to gain points from a good amount of possession Walterstown got there 3rd win of the Division 2 A League.
