Trim were first on the score board with a point from play on the 2nd minute. Stephen Finnegan opened the scoring for Seneschalstown on the 4th minute. Trim sooned cancelled this point out on the 6th minute. Niall Groome sooned added to this with points from play on the 8th and 9th minutes. Finnegan again kicked over the black spot on the 13th minute but was soon cancelled out by a point from play from Trim on the 16th minute.The Yellow Furze full forward line of Brian Sheridan, Shane Clarke and David Hosey scored 3 futher points from play on the 17th, 18th and 20th minutes. With Trim conceeding a free on the 24th minute this allowed Sheridan step up kick over the bar. Trim added 2 further points to the scoreline before the break of half time leaving just 2 points between the sides.
Trim were first on the score board with 2 points in the opening 3 minutes of the second half this was soon followed by a tally of scores by the homeside with points from play from Finnegan, 2 from Hosey, Mark Carey, 2 from Clarke, Damien Sheridan, 2 from Bryan Clarke and Robert Ruddy. Trim at this stage had not scored since the 33rd minute of the second half slotted over 4 points from play before goal came for Seneschalstown when Bryan Clarke shot past Trim goalie Brendan Murphy on the 59th minute of the match.
