Played in excellent Autumnal weather, this was a must win game for Seneschalstown and so they set about their task with great determination and a desire to get back to winning ways.

Despite being short a number of players through injury and illness their spirit remained strong as their proceeded to take control of this game from the start. Aided by a strong wind and playing into the lower goals, Seneschalstown quickly established themselves by converting quick fire points and no less than five goals to give themselves a half time score of Seneschalstown 5-12 Clan na Gael 2-03.

The second half could have proved difficult for the Seneschalstown girls as they now faced a Clann na Gael team who introduced fresh players and now with the benefit of the conditions they began to show their quality.
