Juvenile AGM: The Juvenile AGM will take place in the clubhouse on Saturday November 22nd at 18:30. Following the AGM there will be a social gathering in Maguires Bar and Lounge with all welcome.
Ladies Feis Cup: The Senior Ladies Feis Cup Final against Dee Rangers has been fixed for Fr. Tully Park on Sunday November 23rd at 14:30. Best of luck to the ladies as they bid to complete a Championship/Feis Cup Double. Dee Rangers will provide formidable opposition though as they have had a superb year including winning the Leinster Junior Championship a few weeks ago.
Minor: The LMFM Division 2 Minor Championship Final against Trim which was called off last Friday due to the pitch in Skryne being unplayable has been refixed for this Sunday, November 23rd, at 12:00 in Skryne. The team has had a fine championship campaign so far, accounting for Gaeil Colmcille, Curraha/St. Vincents and Na Fianna after a replay to make the final.
Many of the players have also played Junior B and Junior D this year and under the guidance of Paul Geraghty, Joe Cowley and Stephen Finnegan they will be looking to end their year on a high on Sunday evening by claiming the Liam Tolan Memorial Cup.

Club Nursery: The U-10’s will have coaching in the Skills Wall in Fr. Tully Park on Thursday evening.
Meath GAA Awards: Congratulations to Padraig Coyle who has been announced as Meath GAA referee of the year. Padraig will receive his award at their annual presentation evening in the Newgrange Hotel on Friday evening.
Meath Ladies Awards: Our senior side have been nominated for Club Team of the Year while Louise Coyle and Mary Sheridan have been nominated for Senior Club Championship Player of the Year. Both Louise and Mary have been in outstanding form this year with Louise winning the Player of the Match Award in this year’s County Final. Best of luck to all at the Awards Night on Saturday November 29th in the Newgrange Hotel.
Mass For Deceased Members: Mass for deceased members took place on Sunday in Church of the Assumption, Kentstown. Our thanks go to all who helped out and had a role during the mass.
Cumann na mBunscol: Due to the inclement weather conditions last Saturdays Cumann na mBunscol Final between Yellow Furze NS and Scoil Cholmcille, Skyrne was postponed until Saturday November 29th.
The girls from Kentstown NS will be in action in their final on Saturday at 12:30 in Páirc Tailteann against the Gaelscoil from Dunboyne. The girls will be primed for action thanks to the brilliant work being done by Ann Currane while our School Liaison Officer Gerry McDonnell has been busy helping out in both schools.
Our thanks also to Joe Sheridan who called into both schools last Friday to give the sides a pep talk in advance of their finals.
Lotto: The numbers drawn in this week’s Lotto were 2, 9, 27 and 28. There was no winner of the jackpot of €4,900. Next week’s jackpot will be worth €5,000. The 5 x €25 winners are Donal Bowens, Sean Reilly, Noel Dixon, Tom Maguire and Nell Kilkenny.
