Seneschalstown continued their impressive 100% start to the season with another victory over neighbours Duleek in the A FL Div. 1 on Sunday.
Seneschalstown were quickly out of the blocks and opening the scoring after 1 minute thanks to a free from Joe Sheridan. Joe added a second score from play after 3 minutes, before brother Damien added another point on 6 minutes.

Seneschalstown continued their impressive 100% start to the season with another victory over neighbours Duleek in the A FL Div. 1 on Sunday.
Seneschalstown were quickly out of the blocks and opening the scoring after 1 minute thanks to a free from Joe Sheridan. Joe added a second score from play after 3 minutes, before brother Damien added another point on 6 minutes.
Damien Sheridan added another point from a free after he was foul himself after 13 minutes, before the vital score of the half. On 16 minutes Joe Sheridan slotted the ball into the corner of the net after a great pass from Joe Cowley put him through.
Seneschalstown had to wait until the final 2 minutes of the half before registering further scores courtesy of a point from David Byrne and a 45m from Joe Sheridan, to leave the scores 1-6 to no score at the interval.
After holding Duleek scoreless in first half, Eamonn Barry’s side must of felt that this was some kind of April Fool’s joke, but they were quick off the mark after the interval to score the first 3 points of the half – 1 from play and 2 frees.
Seneschalstown had to wait until the 14th minute of the half before registering their next score thanks to a free from Joe Sheridan from a foul on Stephen Sheridan who appeared to be straight through on goal.
Duleek responded again with 2 points from play on the 16th and 24th minute, before Joe Sheridan added another free on the 26th minute. The final score of the game came from Robert Ruddy who follow up on a rebounded to score a goal in injury time.
James Byrne, Paul Carey, Colin Clarke, Stephen Sheridan, Cormac Quinn, David Byrne, Joe Cowley and Joe Sheridan all impressed for Seneschalstown.
