Seneschalstown got off to a great start thanks mainly to Brian Sheridan and went into 0-4 v. 0-0 lead after 10 minutes of play. Wayne McCarthy kept the home team in touch with a goal and three points from frees to leave just one point between the teams at half-time, Seneschalstown 0-7 to Simonstown’s 1-3.
Mark McCabe grabbed Simonstown’s second goal just after half-time to give them a lead that the never surrendered.
