Seneschalstown suffered a disappointing setback to their B League Division 1 campaign when Simonstown eased to an eleven point victory on Sunday March 30th.

Having got off to a slow start Seneschalstown found themselves 1-02 to 0-01 behind after fifteen minutes before Simonstown stretched their advantage to 2-03 to 0-02 following a first half littered with poor football.

Seneschalstown suffered a disappointing setback to their B League Division 1 campaign when Simonstown eased to an eleven point victory on Sunday March 30th.

Having got off to a slow start Seneschalstown found themselves 1-02 to 0-01 behind after fifteen minutes before Simonstown stretched their advantage to 2-03 to 0-02 following a first half littered with poor football.

Whatever words were spoken to the Seneschalstown side appeared to have got them fired up for the second half when they drew level at 2-03 apiece within seven minutes following two rapid fire goals. Robert Darby punched the first to the net and this was soon followed up when Shane Clarke struck for a second goal after a point attempt from Darby came back off the upright.

However, the wind fell out of the Seneschalstown sail soon after and Simonstown reasserted their superiority as they rattled off an unanswered 1-08 over the remainder of the half to ease to victory.
