In ideal conditions Dunderry and Seneschalstown served up a thrilling match. Seneschalstown started strongly and posted (1-2),without reply, in the first 10 mins through Gerard McHendry (1-1)and (0-1)from a James Conlon free.Seneschalstown were dominating in all areas and could have been further ahead but for very poor finishing. An easy win for Seneschalstown looked likely but then Dunderry began to play and posted the next four points. A Conlon free settled Seneschalstown again and they added (0-3) through Colin Lynch, James Conlon and Adam Gargan. Dunderry responded with (0-3) before Conlon finished the first half scoring with a point.

Dunderry began the second half strongly scoring (0-4) to put them (0-2) ahead. Seneschalstown replied through Niall Groome(0-2), Sean Finlay(0-1) and the outstanding Conlon (0-5). Dunderry refused to give in and came back with(0-3). Conlon replied for Seneschalstown to leave (0-4) in it. With only minutes remaining a defensive mix up allowed Dunderry in for a goal to leave the minimum in it. Dunderry had a chance to level matters in injury time but again Conlon had the final say with his tenth point.
